The purpose of this article is to show how to mathematically calculate the precise number and value of bypass capacitors your design needs.
This calculator finds the maximum PWB trace length possible before a termination is needed.
It will take as inputs the signal rise time and the PWB insulator
dielectric constant. It will output the maximum trace length in mm before terminations are necessary.
